About Us
Since January 2020, through its flagship initiative-the Mahatma Ela Centre- has been recognised as an Authorised Examination Centre by Cambridge Assessment Examination, the non-profit initiative of the prestigious University of Cambridge, UK.
Incidentally, we are the only authorised exam centre for the Cambridge English qualification in south Tamilnadu.
Our Journey
Mahatma Group of schools has always accorded tremendous importance to the teaching and learning of English since its inception in 1983.
The management of the school recognised early on that English is a global language and acquiring proficiency in language would give students a head start in the lives and career.
So for more than 17 years, the school has encouraged students across various levels to appear for the English qualification conducted by the University of Cambridge.
